Michele is our front desk coordinator. She has been in the dental field for 15 years as an assistant and a front desk receptionist. Michele is responsible for setting up appointments, answering the phone and discussing all financial and insurance questions you may have. When not at the office, Michele, who resides in South Brunswick, can be found raising her three boys, Trevor, Nick and Connor, making sure they are all at the right places at the right time.
Bobbie has been with the office for over thirty years. She has been in the dental field her whole life. As the hygiene schedule coordinator, it is her job to see that the schedule is always filled. She also fills in at the front desk answering the phone and scheduling appointments. Bobbie is a lifelong resident of Hightstown. When not in the office, you can find her at home with her husband Frank, or spending time with her grandchildren.
Ellen is our part time night receptionist. She has been with the office over thirty years. She has lived in the Plainsboro area her whole life. Her son Scott is a Plainsboro police officer.
Usha is our part time receptionist. Usha has been in the dental field for over thirty years as a front desk coordinator. Due to the volume of our practice, we have added Usha to help out with many of the front desk responsibilities. When not working, Usha loves spending time with her husband Subhash of forty years, and her two children and the two grandchildren.
Our dental assistants focus on working hand and hand with the doctor and making sure your visit is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
Kristine is our part time assistant. Having over fifteen years experience she brings a lot of skill to her position. When she isn’t working she spends a lot of time with her husband Paul and two children, Brianna and Sofia.
Maggie is our newest full time assistant. She comes to our office with over ten years’ experience. Her strengths are her kindness and compassion for all our patients. She is the proud mom of two children, Sebastian and Veronica. She has been married for over ten years to her husband Greg. When Maggie is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and going on vacation to their favorite spots, St. Martin and Lake George.
Studies show that over half the US population has periodontal disease. Prevention is our number one priority. Our Registered Dental Hygienists are highly trained professionals who have earned college degrees and passed licensing exams. The office believes in good oral health and our hygienists are a big part in that process. If you have any questions about how to care for your teeth, don’t hesitate to ask your hygienist for suggestions.
Trish is our only full time hygienist. She brings over thirty years of hygiene experience to the office. She is responsible for all hygiene supplies handed out to our patients. A Hamilton resident, when not working she is home with her husband Stanley planning on when she can visit any of her three children or her new granddaughter.
Kim brings her twenty plus years of hygiene skills to our office. She has been here for three years on a permanent level but temped here for two additional years. She resides in Hopewell with her husband Pete and her two children Maya and Jake.
Patti joined our team two years ago on a part time basis. She has 28 years experience in the dental field beginning as an assistant then becoming a dental hygienist in 1993. She has lived in the central NJ area most of her life and currently lives in Hightstown. She and her husband Rich have one son Dan who is attending college. Patti and Rich enjoy spending time watching their musician son perform.
Tomasina is one of our part-time hygienists. She loves working with children. She brings eighteen years experience to our office. When she is not doing hygiene you can usually find her with her husband Joe, two children Celine and Nicholas and their two dogs. Tomasina also enjoys reading, photography, and traveling.
Melissa is our newest hygienist. She has been in the dental field for over fourteen years. She has a real passion for providing the best possible care for her patients. When not working Melissa spends all her family time with her husband Jason, and two twin boys Zach and Miles.
Tammy has been practicing dental hygiene for over 4 years. She loves working with children and prides herself on making nervous patients feel at ease. She loves being a hygienist because of the opportunity to connect with interesting people while providing individualized care. When not practicing hygiene, you can find her on her yoga mat, hiking, traveling, or crocheting.
Deanna is the newest of our part time hygienists. Before becoming a dental hygienist, she was a certified dental assistant for five years. She has been a dental hygienist for seventeen years, with extensive training in neuromuscular dentistry and periodontal therapy. Deanna has been married for eleven years and has two sons. She enjoys traveling and reading.
Nanci has been in the dental field for over 35 years, and a registered dental hygienist for 30 years. Originally from Sayreville, she now lives in Jackson with her husband and their three children, Glenn, Allison and Catherine, and their dog Skeeter. When not working, Nanci enjoys spending her time with her family and friends.
Dr. Spielman is a 1975 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he did two additional years training in the United States Air Force. He opened up his dental practice in 1979 in Plainsboro. Practicing for over thirty eight years and having the oldest practice in the area, Dr. Spielman brings a lot of experience and skill to the practice. He was a professor at New York University College of Dentistry for 11 years as well as on the admission board interviewing prospective students. He has lectured internationally and has been published in the Journal of the American Dental Association, as well as other dental magazines. Dr. Spielman is member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Mercer County Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pearl Network for Dental Research and PBRN which is a national dental practice research network.
Dr. Spielman and his wife Joan have two children, a son Matthew who is married to Shannon, and a daughter Amanda. In his spare time Dr. Spielman enjoys golfing and spending as much time as possible with his family.
A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Schwartz brings over thirty years experience to the practice. His main focus is pediatric dentistry, as well as complete and partial dentures. He is known in the office for his patience and utter kindness to all his patients and fellow employees. He is licensed in NY and NJ and practices in New York when not in the office. Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Dental Association, New York and New Jersey Dental Associations and Pearl Network for Dental Research.
When not working, you can find him on the tennis courts or with his wife Marge and two children Evan and Leah.
